Four Seasons Chooses Tangier: International Luxury Sets Its Sights on Cap Malabata

A new luxury resort in Tangier
On 8 October 2026 Four Seasons announced the Four Seasons Resort Tangier, a new luxury resort at Cap Malabata, the headland east of the bay that looks out over the Strait of Gibraltar and the Spanish coast.
The project is being developed with Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a company backed by the financial group GFH. The signal is clear: the great names of international hospitality are looking at Tangier.

Morocco's fourth Four Seasons
After Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat, Tangier becomes the fourth Moroccan city chosen by Four Seasons.
The group points to the city's strategic location, its cultural heritage and an exceptional waterfront. Cap Malabata brings all three together: unspoilt nature, views across the Strait and the city just minutes away.

The resort in figures
The resort will have 99 rooms and suites, including 27 standalone villas, with more than 260 metres of seafront.
Plans include four restaurants serving local and international cuisine, pools and waterfront lounging, a full-service spa, a fitness centre, the Kids For All Seasons programme and indoor and outdoor event spaces. The architecture is by Arjitec, the interiors by Goddard Littlefair.
The resort will be around 15 minutes from the high-speed train station and 45 minutes from Ibn Battouta Airport. The opening date has not yet been announced.

Tangier on the map of international luxury
The arrival of a brand like Four Seasons is another step in the evolution of the city's tourism offer.
In recent years Tangier has drawn growing interest from international investors, thanks to its position between Europe and Africa, new infrastructure and the enhancement of its coastline: the new waterfront, the Al Boraq high-speed train, the expansion of Tanger Med, the Grand Stade ahead of the 2030 World Cup.
New prestige hotel brands strengthen the city's international standing and widen the prospects for real estate and tourism.
